Introduction to Grace Curriculum

Our school curriculum consists of daily programs and activities that will be designed to fit the learning needs of our students. We aim to have a teaching environment in which kids will be encouraged to learn.

LITERACY:

  • Enjoy looking at books.
  • Listen and answer questions about a story.
  • Retell familiar stories in their own words.
  • Recognizes and identifies the Alphabet (big and small letters). 
  • Enhance writing skills. 

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

SPEAKING AND LISTENING
  • Use words to describe people, places, and things.
  • Understand simple conversational rules.
  • Understands simple instructional language like (stand up, sit down, line up, etc). 
MATH
  • Recognizes and identifies numbers.
SCIENCE
  • Can explore, observe and collect data—an exciting learning experience of living and non-living things.
SOCIAL SKILLS
  • They can identify and describe their own feelings and emotions.
  • They can interact with classmates and make friends independently.
  • They can communicate their own wants and needs verbally.

*Although these skills are introduced and addressed, we respect all young children to learn these concepts at their own individual pace. We value the process more than the results.
